Designed and developed natively in Webflow, this project serves as a satirical homage to high-end tech product reveals. While the visual language perfectly mimics the minimalist, premium aesthetic of Apple—featuring sleek typography and a deep black void background—the copy offers a humorous twist. Headlines like "Basically the same as last year’s iPhone" subvert user expectations, blending professional UI design with tongue-in-cheek commentary to keep the user entertained.
The primary technical goal of this build was to master the integration of immersive 3D web experiences. Utilizing a high-fidelity model from Spline, we engineered a seamless interaction where the device rotates and re-positions itself dynamically as the user scrolls. This 3D element goes beyond static imagery; it is fully interactive, allowing users to manipulate the device directly. This creates a tactile, engaging experience that showcases the potential of WebGL without requiring complex custom coding.
By synchronizing the 3D camera movements with the narrative flow, the site delivers a cinematic storytelling experience. As visitors navigate through the "features"—such as the exploded view of the camera lenses or the side profile showcasing its "marginally blacker" shade—the phone orients itself to highlight exactly what the text describes. This project successfully demonstrates how Webflow and Spline can work in tandem to create sophisticated, motion-driven interfaces that feel incredibly premium.
